The Alternative Technology Association (ATA), today welcomed the Victorian Government’s announcement of a doubling of the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET), also known as the Energy Saver Incentive, and the opening of the scheme to small and medium sized businesses.

MEFL and ATA strongly support the proposed changes to the Renewable Energy Target (RET) scheme and thus the timely passage of the Bills. As proposed, the passing of legislation and adoption of the changes will see a re-invigoration of the large-scale renewable energy industry as well as increased certainty and confidence to small-scale renewable energy proponents.

The One Million Homes Alliance is calling on the Victorian Government to enable more Victorians to tackle climate change and rising energy and water bills by upgrading the water and energy efficiency of one million homes.
