Enfield Community Centre
540 Regency Road, Enfield
See Adelaide branch page (or your preferred mapping page) for a map to this location.

Entry fee: Gold coin donation to assist with hall hire.
9th March:
Colin Pitman – Director of City Projects at the City of Salisbury.
Colin will give a brief overview of the world renowned Salisbury stormwater catchment and treatment project then detail the exciting developments that have ocurred over the past 18 months. There’s been considerable international interest in the project and relationships have developed with water authorities in Berlin, Budapest and California. Interstate interest has lead to a joint working project with NSW councils whereby water is reclaimed, treated and reused across a large area of Sydney.
Today the Salisbury project not only captures and treats the water for aquifer recharge and sale to irrigators but also purifies it to drinking quality. Colin will bring some sample bottles so you can do a taste test against standard Adelaide tap water.
Meeting details can be found on this flyer Salisbury Water Project 9th March March Meeting 2010
