Brisbane Branch meeting: Electric Vehicle Showcase -17 July

Where: Albion Peace Centre, 102 MacDonald Rd, Albion (underneath Albion Overpass; UBD 140 Ref. D14)
Cost: $3, to help cover venue hire costs
Come along and join in our electrical vehicles showcase. A series of owner-developed electrical vehicles will be on display for observation and discussion.This event will be held outside in the car park and grass area adjacent to our usual meeting location at the Albion Peace Centre.
Bring along your friends and find out what has been happening in the local electrical vehicle scene.?BYO lunch if desired.
If you have an electrical vehicle of any description that you would like to share with others, please bring it along – all are most welcome. Set-up for those with electrical vehicles for display commences from 10.00am.
Help spread the word on sustainability at Centenary Rocks Festival
The ATA Brisbane Branch will be operating a stall at the 2010 Centenary Rocks Festival. If you would like to promote sustainable living, please come along and help out on ATA’s stand. We’re looking for more helpers who can offer to assist in 1 or 2 hour timeslots on Saturday 24 July, between 12.00pm and 6.30pm.

The Centenary Rocks Festival is a free entry community-based event that last year attracted over 15,000 people. It is an event where local community groups, organisations and businesses showcase what they can offer and provide to the community as well as promote themselves. The festival includes an eco precinct where exhibitors can help local households, businesses, schools and other organisations to go green. The Centenary Rocks Festival won the 2009 Lord Mayor?s Australia Day Award for Community Event of the Year.
