A smart wheel for electric vehicles

Presenter: Joel Grant, Director, Smart Wheel Technology
The single greatest breakthrough in electric vehicle technology since the invention of the electric car (with the possible exception of better batteries), will be described by its inventor, Joel Grant. Joel will talk about Smart Wheel Technology, whereby each wheel in an electric vehicle is a self-contained energy-efficient module, with its own microprocessor-controlled traction control and steering.

Joel is an engineer, who originally patented the novel mathematical algorithms which control the wheel, as well as the associated innovative technology such as the Axial Flux Brushless DCV Traction Motor, back in 1994. The technology is also appropriate for public transport, agricultural and industrial machinery and the transport industry. Hear a fascinating presentation by a very humble genius living right here in Brisbane.
