Evacuated tube solar hot water systems
Rod Anderson from SolarOZ will be talking about evacuated tube solar hot water systems. Rod made the decision five years ago to install a solar hot water system at his home. Dissatisfied with the systems currently available in Australia, and their cost, he started researching and discovered that the best practice European systems were being manufactured in China. Rod then visited many factories in China, returning with sample systems to try out in Australia. He has settled on a product which is well-manufactured and suitable for the Australian market. He has been importing and selling that system through SolarOz for 18 months.

Rod will be giving a “show and tell” interactive presentation covering:

• Evacuated tube solar hot water systems – how they work and why they are so efficient
• Research he’s carried out into these systems
• Systems available

The format for the evening:

7:30pm – Guest speaker – Rod Anderson from SolarOz.
8:30pm – Tea/coffee break
8:45pm – Brief Brisbane Branch General Meeting
