Monthly “Around the Garages”.

This is a visit to the garage of someone who is converting a vehicle and is usually held on about the second Sunday of a month.

Electric Vehicle Show.

The Geelong and Melbourne Electric Vehicle Branches will be supporting the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Formula SAE event by providing a display of electric vehicles.  This event is an international student design competition where they have to produce a working race car.  Last year there were 27 teams and 2 electric cars.  This year there will be 5 electric cars competing.

The event for 2011 will be held on Sunday December 18th at

Victoria University Industrial Skills Campus,

Gate 4, Hoppers Lane, Werribee,
