Photovoltaic solar power systems – an owner’s perspective

The topic for the evening will be photovoltaic solar power systems and we will hear a presentation from Jonathon Thwaites. Jonathon has had a PV system for several years and has been diligently monitoring its performance so he will be able to give us an owner’s perspective. If anyone is considering installing a PV system, come along and take the opportunity to ask questions. Please feel free to invite any friends along who might be interested.

We were also hoping to have a talk from Travis Hargraves but unfortunately he can’t make this date and will talk to us at the May meeting. Travis is an experienced system installer and an energy efficiency consultant. He will be able cover different solar cell types, REC’s, lighting systems etc.

We will follow this specific talk with a general session where anyone can ask questions about anything in the sustainability field. We’re all there to share information and help each other out so if there are any specific topics you would like us to investigate as presentations, please let me know.
