More on Solar power

Following on from our talk last month on PVs from an owner’s perspective, the presenter for the evening will be Travis Hargreaves, who is an experienced PV system installer and an energy efficiency consultant. He will be able to talk to us about different solar cell types, RECs, lighting systems etc. So if anyone is considering installing a PV system, come along and take the opportunity to ask questions and learn what questions to ask PV installers. Please feel free to invite any friends along who might be interested.

As usual we will follow this specific talk with a general session where anyone can ask questions about anything in the sustainability field. We’re all there to share information and help each other out.

Future meetings

For the June meeting we will be hearing from David O’Driscoll of Brightgreen – a local manufacturer of LED lighting. David is also willing to talk on socially responsible design. More details to follow.
