I’ve just posted a long article on Shmeco. The title is in the web address: http://www.shmeco.com/shmeco-story/465/Id-like-a-sustainable-home-but-where-do-I-start under the name AStrickland. It’s a response to many queries we receive from people who want to build a sustainable house or modify an existing home. They’re inspired by what they see at Sustainable House Day or hear about through the ATA and want some guidelines about how to go through th eprocess or learning and doing. Several recent queries have been about finding a suitable builder. You might like to give your experiences or make comments. If you know of anyone, especially a woman, who’s been through the process, could you encourage them to add to it? Either make a comment on the site after registering or by emailing me at alanmarg@cobweb.com.au The article needs to be re-formatted which is in progress but may still appear as one continuous block.Regards
