The first meeting of the year of the Sydney Central Branch will feature a talk on the topic of Electric Boats – A Green alternative on the Water” which will be jointly presented by Steven Mullie and Charles Fitzhardinge.

Steven and Charles will give an update on electric boats, current technology and electric boat applications for private and commercial/government use, plus global developments in electric boating. They will cover topics such as the performance, various drive systems (inboard, outboard, pod) and provide an overview of batteries, controllers and charging systems.

Steven and Charles are founding members of the Electric Boat Association of Australia, and both are active in the industry – Steven runs Eco Boats on Sydney’s Middle Harbour, and Charles was a consulting engineer and a founder of Solarboat Pty Ltd.

No need to register, just come along and bring friends and potential new members.
