At the next Sydney Central Alternative Technology Association meeting, our Guest Speaker is Bill Holland who is speaking on the topic “The Real Value of Solar”.

Bill became interested in solar power through his business and in 2006 took the step to converting his home to solar. His next project to turn Pittwater High School into a Solar Power Station began in 2007 and resulted in him winning the Green Award (with News.com) in 2008. Bill will talk about how to reduce your carbon footprint and he will profile the work done at Pittwater High to demonstrate how cost effective and worthwhile going solar can be.
