Our next Sydney Central Group ATA meeting is on Tuesday 8th September at 6pm to 8pm at our new location, which is the Wallaby Room on Level 11 of the Telstra building in 320 Pitt St, Sydney.

Our host sponsor is Telstra and appropriately, our first talk at the new venue is by Nik Lukich who currently works as an Industry Director within Telstra Enterprise & Government. A member of the Australian Institute of Management (since 1995), Nik has an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney with a Sub-Major in Electronic Business and is currently undertaking a degree in law. Nik will speak about the Role of ICT in Reducing the Impact on the Environment. He will look at the area of Green IT, and tell us about the initiatives of Telstra in relation to CO2 impact. Nik will provide some case studies, and discuss business case and environmental calculators, and what are the benefits of using tools such as video conferencing.
