The next ATA Sydney Central Meeting will be held on Tuesday 13th May from 6pm to 8pm at the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts, 3rd Floor, 280 Pitt St Sydney.

Our guest speaker will be Danielle McCartney, Senior Associate and Sydney Office Manager for SBE (Sustainable Built Environments www.sbe.com.au).

Danielle will talk about sustainable architecture in terms of energy efficiency, greenhouse gas reduction, water conservation, materials selection, resource use, sustainable transport, indoor environment quality and social amenity. She will present a few examples of SBE’s sustainable projects from Australia and some European projects that she has been involved with.

She has had experience in the sustainable development of mixed-use projects, subdivisions, master planning and the regeneration of urban areas. SBE projects range from larger commercial buildings to smaller institutional and residential projects.
