Dr Robert Patterson, a soil scientist and environmental engineer, has been researching the effects of household wastewater on soils and gardens for over 25 years. His work in identifying and comparing the quality of laundry wastewater, and potential effects on the environment, is unique and freely available to the community through the Lanfax Labs website. Over recent years, Choice Magazine and Lanfax Labs have worked cooperatively for better information on the potential effects and washing performance of the major laundry detergents.
Robert will provide some down-to-earth insight into the chemistry of wastewater in the home, dispel some myths and advertising propaganda and add some intrigue to our everyday cleaning chemicals.
