    Opportunities for Small Wind Systems in Australia

    The topic for the next Sydney Central ATA meeting will be “Opportunities for mall Wind Systems in Australia” with a talk by Katie Ross, a certified small wind system site assessor who has personally managed the installation of over 500 kW of small wind energy systems.

    Katie will seek to de-mystify the small wind industry and discuss the technology, what different types of systems are available, and how much energy small wind systems can produce. She will also discuss location considerations such as how to determine the best locations and what types of towers are available. And most importantly, Katie will cover zoning and what types of approvals are required.

    Members and guests are most welcome, and there is no need to register for this meeting.
