I'm in Rockhampton and there is no group here.What is good news though is that there are 500 grid interactive systems currently being installed here under the Qld Govt solar rebate scheme. I don't think Townsville residents were eligible. I'm waiting for my 1kW system to be installed at a total cost of $185.
The ECO Kinetics offer is now closed but they are going to offer a new deal after June 30.

an official environmental group i joined led nowhere, it was a waste of time they never even contacted me, they don't seem to be going anywhere it seems to be populated by people in the council.

suppose i should show my face down there but it will have to fit around work, i've become skeptical of talkfests. you'd have noticed from the previous thread i need some legal advice on starting a charity. i had a brainwave and contacted the local freelegal advice mob but chances are this'll die a natural death too.
you don't know of any legal person who knows the in and outs of starting a charity do you? i'm trying to start a charity to buy and install solar systems. the quicker stuff gets installed the better theres no more time the clock has stopped. i heard some grim news on the ABC the other day about some research sucking more money from solving the problem and channeling money into what we already know.
