   Hello,

   I'm hoping to take advantage of the 4 year interest free green loan to install water tanks:

   Maleny Credit Union is one bank who is offering the loan:

   My yard is very small, however, so ideally I'd like a couple of bladder tanks under the house.

   Has anyone got these? Which brand did you choose?

   I got a quote for a Rain Reviva tank that would catch the full capacity of rain from my roof and be plumbed into my bathroom and laundry. This was going to cost me just over $8000 installed (a couple of years ago). I'm looking for something a bit cheaper, perhaps $5000.

   I do understand you can't suggest prices, which is dependent on the size of the roof plus the amount of rainfall and water used, I'm just looking for different companies.

   I've had a look through the web; at the moment I'm not sure if a support frame is necessary (as Rain Reviva have) or not.

   Another alternative would be some sort of underground tank.

   I have no idea of costing but digging the hole to install it is likely to be expensive.

   Sam, you could have a look at 'WaterCells' by Vision Water in NSW.

   I haven't used any yet, though there is a possible application in the near future. The standard sized watercell is designed to fit an area 5.6 x 3.8m with a clear height of 0.8m plus access. Standard capacity is 16000 litres. I recall that a single cell is about $3000. In this regard a standard tank is easier and cheaper, but only if there is an appropriate location for it.
   Of course the issue in an existing dwelling is finding a suitably sized space that isn't a garage, plainly not a problem in a purpose designed structure. I think their rep that I met said that custom sizes could be done too.

   Bladders are cheaper than underground and if you have usable space under the house it would be the best way to go.
