Have just drilled the foundations (stump/pier holes) for my new sustainable house! Yay! Progress!!!
Unfortunately the engineers insist we must use concrete (or similar) and timber sole-plates are not an option as the site is classified N3 wind zone.
Any of you fine gents/ladies know of something a little more sustainable than concrete?
Boral make "Envirocrete" which uses some recycled concrete as an aggregate.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
