Ive got a client who wants to know more about blow-in insulation for existing walls.
Ive never quite understood how it works:
If you blow into double brick walls, it must be just in the air gap - does this potentially form a moisture bridge with the outer leaf of brickwork?
Into brick veneer, it must also rely on the gap between the stud layer and the outer brick leaf, so similar potential issue?
What about it not falling in evenly, getting caught on mortar dags and leaving large gaps inside and therefore not working well?
Anyone used it to positive effect? Thought I'd ask here for mileage rather than a supplier/salesman first off the rank.
