Bushwalker sorry for the long winded reply but if I was to supply byob with some of the info he was asking for then I would have been put in a position that was to be used for purposes not necessarily in my interests or A and A's.

Google says that LCA is either:
Lutheran Church of Australia
Life Cycle Assessment
Linux.Conf.Au
Leagues Clubs Australia
??
Sorry for the hiccup guys.
Not being a computer expert in any shape or form this is all mew to me.
Give me a day or two and I'll reply in full detail for you.
I think it would be a Land Capability Assessment (LCA). It is a written report that assesses the various aspects of a site, including the way it is proposed to be developed in the absence of reticulated sewerage.
Great info in this forum! Would anyone like to post an update on how their systems are doing? Also would love to hear from anyone in a high-rainfall area, to know if the wet season has effected their worm-farm system?
I'd love an update too!
I bought a onzite worm farm kit in 2013. I about to connect it up to run. I had a LPED (low pressure effluent distribution) design done for $1k (council requirement). I am on a hill and did not want a pump so i am using a flout and gravity to send the worm wee from the worm tank to the LEPD.
I have a 600litre tank which will fill with worm wee and then release at once to the LPED, which is 266m of lateral 40mm pipe with 6mm holes at 2m centres.
I am advised that the issue is the system being clogged up and that pressure flushing will be required at a frequency dependant on usage (once in the first 3 months). I assume the issue is the warm castings being washed through the system, blocking the LPED.
Also basic worm care is required. No chemicals allowed. Worms will eat anything organic including dead animals.
