You'll never ever get good outcomes from solar while relying 100% on a 240 volt electical system and appliances. I lived on a large yacht for 2 years and was amazed how effecient my 12v system was using wind and solar. It was the 240v appliances that killed the gains i made. Why in the hell are they still tying to sell us all the 240v crap in stores. When are manufacturers going to start giving us better, more effecient alternatives with 12v appliances. Am i the only person who sees this enormous problem! If your serious about reducing your carbon Footprint, you'll stop using the big energy suckers like dryers, ovens, dishwashers etc. If you can't live without them, then the earth could surley live longer without you!
They say everything starts at home, but i'm not sure most know where to start with solar.........Why?............after all these years of talk and rebates.
