Hi all. Reading here it seems most people who have the Apricus HWS have opted for Electric boosting over Gas. Ideally I would Gas boost but I am having trouble justifying paying $1500 extra for that option even though I know it is more efficient.
We are a family of 4 (2 adults 2 Kids) Living in Perth. The HWS is part of our house renovation where we intend to stay for the next 20 years so although we will be here for a long time I dont want it to take 20 years to pay back that extra $1500. As the Kids get older I expect shower time will increase and we want enough HW for guests when they come to stay so I want flexibility but at the moment I dont know which way to go.
I would be keen to hear what others think, especially those who have gone the Gas Boost option (If anyone) and was it worth it to you or not?
The other thing I am thinking is if I do go Eelctric if I could Retrofit Gas booosting down the track if we found we were boosting to often?
