We’ve heard a lot about desalination and pipelines but what about the other viable alternatives? This seminar will focus on the sustainable water supply options for Melbourne – including stormwater harvesting, recycled water and rainwater capture. Panellists will include Peter Coombes, Belinda Hatt and Kelly O’Shanassy.

Dr Peter Commbes is an urban water expert, currently a director at Bonacci Water and a project leader in the eWater CRC.

Belinda Hatt is based at Monash University working as a researcher in the field of urban water management, focusing on stormwater treatment technologies, stormwater harvesting and integrated urban water management.

Kelly O’Shanassy is CEO of Environment Victoria who have recently published the report – “Water Security, Healthy Rivers: EV’s vision for Melbourne” – an alternative water plan for Melbourne.
