The ATA has available a limited number of samples of 240 volt LED bulbs that we would like to offer to members at a discount price. We are offering these to members who are willing to give feedback on the bulbs, and are willing to use bulbs that don’t have Australian electrical approvals (although they have been tested by us and work well, with no problems apparent).

There are several types, including a Par30 7 watt cool white unit with Edison screw base, a GLS 5 watt warm white with Edison screw base (looks like a metal and glass version of a standard lightbulb, with the LEDs in the top half), and several versions of GU10 downlight bulbs which will fit almost all 240 volt GU10 fittings.

• GU10 narrow angle warm white with Cree LEDs (140+ lumens) : $45 (3 available)
• GU10 narrow angle cool white with Cree LEDs (200+ lumens): $45 (5 available)
• GU10 narrow angle (frosted lens for more diffuse, even spot) cool white with Cree LEDs (200+ lumens): $45 (5 available)
• GLS 5 watt warm white bulb: $75 (5 available)
• Par30 7 watt cool white bulb :$85 (3 available)
