In conjunction with bankmecu, the Alternative Technology Association (ATA) presents the latest free sustainability webinar on energy efficient lighting options for the home. John Knox, ATA Technical Specialist, will discuss different lighting options for the home: the good, the bad and the ugly. Including replacements for energy-hungry halogen downlights, return on investment for different lighting options, LEDs and other new technologies to reduce energy use. There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
John is an Electronics Design Draftsman, Electronics Researcher and a Systems Administrator. He is a seasoned presenter on household energy efficiency, building design and sustainable technologies. He is passionate about this topic and, in July 2010, got “on his bike” to talk to communities around Australia in an endeavour to get energy efficiency on the agenda in homes around the nation.
