Visit sustainable gardens and help ATA International Projects

Sunday 5 April 2009, 10.00 am until 4.30 pm, 39 Smart Street Hawthorn
Two ATA members are opening up their sustainable gardens to the public of Melbourne under the Open Gardens Scheme. This is a great opportunity to be inspired by a range of energy and water efficient approaches to gardening. It’s also a great way to help the ATA International Projects Group, because both householders are kindly donating 35% of the entrance fee to solar power projects in East Timor.
Australia’s Open Garden Scheme is a non-profit organisation that began in Victoria in 1987. Its aim is to promote the knowledge and pleasure of gardens and gardening across Australia.
