LJW Solar has released a new range of portable solar pumping units which consist of a high-efficiency diaphragm pump which is powered by a sealed lead-acid battery. The battery is charged by the attached solar panel via a solar regulator.

The units come in three congfigurations: a nine litre-per-minute pump with a 7Ah battery and 5 watt solar panel; a 13 litre-per-minute pump, 12Ah battery and 10 watt solar panel; and a 19 litre-per-minute pump, 18Ah battery and 10 watt solar panel.
