Solar System Owner’s Survey

ATA has recently completed a survey of over 1300 solar photovoltaic system owners from across the country. The results of this survey have been published in a report entitled: The Solar Experience – PV System Owners’ Survey.
The purpose of the survey was to evaluate individuals’ experience with their system purchase and operation, as well as to analyse the links between their renewable energy system and additional energy efficiency and energy conservation measures.
Not surprisingly, the survey found high rates of concern for climate change and other environmental issues amongst PV system owners, high levels of satisfaction with their systems and a strong correlation between the adoption of renewable energy and the uptake of energy efficiency and energy conservation measures.
The report also captures the widespread view that additional incentives need to be offered in order to increase the uptake of renewable energy technologies by the broader community
