Insulation rebates

| Applicable Sector | Owner-occupied or rented houses and semi-detached houses built before 1996. |
| Rebate Amount | A HEAT audit will cost $30, but following the consultation the State Government will rebate $500 for any expenditure over $2000 on changes suggested by the auditor. Those who claim the rebate will also have their $30 audit fee refunded. |

Renewable electricity rebates

| Rebate Amount |
From 1 July 2010 until 30 June 2011, the Premium Price will be 45.7c per kWh for all systems up to 30kW.
The ACT Feed-in Tariff Scheme is based on gross generation, so you are paid for each unit of electricity that you generate. |

The ACT Government announced on the 1st June 2011 that the cap on the Micro Generator category (household systems) has reached its cap and has been closed. Any householders or businesses who have entered into a contract for a solar installation and had paid a deposit before midnight 31st May can still be accepted into the scheme. The Premium Price is set annually. However, when you enter into an arrangement with your electricity supplier you are guaranteed payment of the Premium Price prevailing at that time for the full 20 years of your agreement. |

Water rebates

| Rebate amount | ToiletSmart Program | The ToiletSmart program assists ACT residential property owners to replace single flush toilets with four-star, water efficient 4.5/3 litre dual flush toilets.
A maximum of two rebates may be claimed per metered premises. |
| Gardensmart Service | Free service valued at $150. A qualified horticulturalist will pop in to share advice on how to save water outdoors of the home. You are also eligible for rebates on selected water saving devices up to $50. | |
| Water Tank Rebate | $750 for a tank 2000-3999 litres.
$900 for a tank 4000-8999 litres. $1000 for 9000+ litres. Above rebates are only applicable to rainwater tanks that are internally plumbed to your toilet or laundry. A rebate of $600 exists to internally plumb your existing rainwater tank. |
