Renewable electricity rebates

Solar hot water rebates

| Rebate amount | Applicants can receive a $600 rebate for the installation of a solar hot water system or heat pump. Pensioners or low-income earners can receive $1000. |
| Additional information | To be eligible applicants must have replaced an existing electric storage hot water system installed at a principal place of residence in Queensland. A list of eligibility criteria and an application form for the rebate can be found here |

Lord Mayor’s Sustainability Grants

| Rebate amount | From $2,000 to $50,000 |

Round one closed on Monday, 31 January 2011. Round two dates are to be confirmed. Grants are for installations on buildings, land and facilities owned or leased by non-profit community groups. |
